A man accused of repeatedly raping a woman in a park in Brisbane’s CBD will remain in prison following a court appearance.
A man will remain behind bars after allegedly raping a woman repeatedly in a Brisbane park.
The 37-year-old was remanded in custody at the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.
Police say he attacked a 31-year-old woman at Gallipoli Park in the CBD about 9.30pm on Friday night.
The woman was treated in hospital after the alleged assault.
The man was arrested at the scene and charged with four counts of rape.
He was denied bail at a court appearance on Saturday, and on Monday his case was adjourned until May 26.
