A woman has been charged with killing an elderly man, following a physical confrontation at his Sunshine Coast unit.
A woman has been charged with the manslaughter of an elderly man on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
Police say a 73-year-old man died after the woman engaged in a verbal and physical confrontation with him in his Caloundra unit on Friday afternoon.
The 35-year-old woman appeared in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Saturday charged with manslaughter.
The dead man and the woman had known each other, a Queensland police spokesman told AAP, but he declined to outline the nature of their relationship.
The elderly victim, who did not live with the woman, was pronounced dead at Caloundra Hospital.
