Gladstone Airport in Queensland had to be evacuated after a man allegedly said he had a bomb in his luggage.
A man has ben charged after making a bomb threat at Gladstone Airport in Queensland.
Police allege the 50-year-old was being processed as a passenger about 4.20pm on Friday when he spoke about having explosives in his luggage.
The airport was evacuated and a police bomb technician cleared the man’s luggage.
He has been charged with one count of falsely stating a bomb was present and is due to appear in the Gladstone Magistrates Court on Monday.
