The Gold Coast Titans have suffered a blow ahead of Monday night’s home clash with North Queensland when William Zillman succumbed to a leg injury.
The Gold Coast Titans are reeling ahead of Monday night’s NRL home clash with North Queensland after fullback William Zillman was ruled out for three weeks with a hamstring tear.
The Titans confirmed flyer David Mead would slot into fullback with Anthony Don moving into the vacant wing position for the Cowboys showdown.
Zillman suffered the injury in Sunday’s win in Canberra.
But Titans coach John Cartwright has other problems with an injury cloud still hovering over pivot Aidan Sezer (quad).
Sezer is on light training duties while Nate Myles and Brad Takairangi missed Wednesday’s session due to minor ankle complaints.
In other concerns, Titans hooker Beau Falloon is still recovering from a knee injury while playmaker Albert Kelly is trying to overcome a foot complaint.
