A Brisbane woman has been hospitalised after a car ploughed through her bedroom and drove over her while she was sleeping, police say.
A Brisbane woman was pinned under a car for more than an hour after a car ploughed into her bedroom while she was sleeping, police say.
A police spokeswoman says a car travelling along Isabella Place in the southern suburb of Sunnybank Hills crashed into a house about 8.30am (AEST) on Saturday.
A woman who was asleep in the house was pinned under the car for more than hour before she was rescued by emergency personnel.
She has been taken to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital with leg injuries.
No charges have been laid against the driver but investigations are continuing.
Police believe the driver may have been trying to avoid an animal on the road when the accident happened.
