An alleged Bandidos bikie has been arrested after police found a drug lab and a gun at Gold Coast home.
A drug lab found at the home of an alleged bikie on the Gold Coast could have produced drugs worth more than $15 million, police claim.
Queensland bikie taskforce detectives searched a home at Upper Coomera on Thursday morning.
They allegedly found a drug lab, methylamphetamine and a shortened firearm fitted with a silencer.
In the lab officers also allegedly found chemicals and a large quantity of spent reaction fluid, “which indicates the laboratory may have produced drugs in excess of $15 million,” a police statement said.
A 45-year-old man, who is allegedly a former member of the Bandidos, has been arrested.
He’s facing eight weapons and drugs charges and is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on Friday.
