A woman is fighting for her life and her daughter has been seriously injured after they were hit by a car at farmers’ markets in far north Queensland.

A 52-year-old woman is in a critical condition with head injuries and her 21-year-old daughter also suffered head injuries, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said.
