Five vehicles have crashed on the Bruce Highway in central Queensland, with two people taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A prime mover has rolled on the Bruce Highway in central Queensland, causing four other vehicles to crash.

Three cars and another prime mover collided when the truck tipped about 4.30am (AEST) on Tuesday, 15km south of Clairview.

Ten people were assessed at the scene. One was taken to Sarina Hospital with minor injuries and another was flown to Mackay with a minor head injury.

The highway was closed, but one lane reopened about 7.30am
