Got a hankering for some authentic American BBQ? That BBQ Joint food truck is doing the rounds, and getting ready to set up shop in Carina permanently in the next four to six weeks.
Husband and wife team, Brent and Amy Poulter, fell in love with the traditional American BBQ while on a road trip through the States six years ago. After years of planning, they launched their food truck on the streets of Brisbane last year, popping up between Milton, Mango Hill and Chandler.
Their signature pork ribs and the 12-hour smoked beef brisket (soft as butter, says Brent) are the most popular. So good in fact, that they tend to sell out before closing. All the spice rubs and sauces are homemade, and soon enough you’ll be able to buy your own bottle of their special BBQ sauce.
The BBQ Joint is also available for private and corporate gigs – sound like the kind of catering you’ve always dreamed about? Yessir. Keep an eye out on their Facebook page for updates: https://www.facebook.com/ThatBbqJoint
