A toddler remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Ipswich.
A two-year-old boy is fighting for his life in hospital after being hit by a vehicle in southeast Queensland.
Police say the boy was hit when he ran onto the road at Augustine Heights in Ipswich on Monday afternoon.
The toddler was taken to the Mater Hospital with life-threatening injuries, and remains there in a serious but stable condition.
Police are trying to establish with the help of the 58-year-old female driver what happened.
