Indooroopilly Shopping Centre launched its Summer Lives Here Fashion Campaign with a spectacular fashion showcase at Lightspace in Fortitude Valley this week.
Hosted by TV personality Liz Cantor, guests enjoyed a sit down dinner and a Summer Lives Here fashion presentation from leading international and Australian designer fashion brands, with hair styling by Oscar Oscar Salons and makeup by Napoleon Perdis.
The event was attended by 2014 Miss World Australia Courtney Thorpe, Channel Seven presenters Hayley Picoto and Sammie O’Brien, Channel Nine presenters Eva Milic, Sam Squires and Sam Heathwood, and Lack of Color co-founders Tess Corvaia and Robert Tilbury, to name a few.
Summer Lives Here Fashion Launch stylist Kimberly Gardner said the spring summer fashion was a blend of looks for day and evening wear.
“Spring summer fashion is about long sunny days in plunging one piece swimsuits, psychedelic ’70s inspired pants, crochet details, with striking metallic dresses and skirts for a stylish evening look,” she said.
Models took to the runway wearing key spring summer trends including tropical prints from Morrison, psychedelic dreams with retro flared pants from Cue, feminine lace and ruffles by Scanlan Theodore, and a standout look for the season shine on metallic which takes you from day to evening wear from Manning Cartell, Asilio, sass & bide and Carla Zampatti.
Men’s fashion focused on Cuban-influenced print jackets from MJ Bale, bold beachwear and neutral colour schemes of slate greys, white and black for functional jackets and slimline pants from Armani Collezioni and Calibre.
