Outstanding Queensland Reds flanker Liam Gill, the reigning Stan Pilecki Medal winner, shares his favourite things about living in Brisbane.

1.DIVING AND FISHING AT MORETON BAY

A few of the Reds guys are into our diving and fishing and we try to get out as often as possible. There are some great diving spots around Brisbane and Moreton Bay is one of my favourites for catching a feed.

2. SKYDIVING OVER REDCLIFFE

If you’re into an adrenaline rush, look no further than a skydive at Redcliffe beach. It’s a beautiful way to see Brisbane, the river, the mountains inland and the islands off the coast.

3. GO KARTING AT KINGSTON PARK RACEWAY

What can I say? You get to drive a little car and go pretty fast and get one over on your mates. Always a good time.

4. WATCHING ST JOSEPH’S COLLEGE GREGORY TERRACE FIRST XV

It’s great to see grassroots rugby at its finest and support my alma mater, especially when they’re playing our oldest rivals, St Joseph’s College Nudgee. Nothing better on a
Saturday arvo.

5. MOUNT COOT-THA LOOKOUT

The views from Mount Coot-tha are unreal. It’s great to head up there on a clear day, grab a coffee and look out over the city.
