TV’s funniest duo, Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally have announced they’ll be doing extra shows in Australia next year, as part of their Summer of 69: No Apostrophe tour.

Due to popular demand, award winning US comedians and real-life married couple Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation) and Megan Mullally (Will and Grace) have now added extra late shows to their Australian tour, including two at QPAC on Saturday 6 February.

Apparently, the couple’s first round of shows sold out in minutes. Well, they are one of the Royal Couples of comedy, after all!

Together the couple have won multiple awards including two Emmy Awards, four Screen Actors Guild Awards for Mullally, a Television Critics Association Award and two Critics Choice Television Awards for Offerman. They’ve also earned massive recognition for their work on screen and stage shows.

In their new show, Summer of 69: No Apostrophe audiences can expect raunchiness and hilarity, as the couple are literally taking their relationship to the stage and yank the britches right off of their marriage.

Mullually describes the show as a “comedic sex-ed”.

“I think the show will be rather graphic so, you know, don’t bring your 7-year-old, but we hope to be very informative,” she says.

“It’s going to be a variety show comprised of talking singing and sex acts.”

The show will feature songs, funny talking, heaving ribaldry, light petting and an astonishing final act of completion, as the funny couple expose all the salacious details of their fiery union for the world to enjoy.

Sounds hilarious!

If you’re a fan (and who isn’t?), don’t miss your second chance to experience the couple at their best in Summer of 69: No Apostrophe.

Two extra shows will be held on Saturday 6 February at QPAC in the Concert Hall, at 8pm and 10:30pm.

Tickets go on sale at 10am Monday 7 September through
