Ash vs. Evil Dead trailer promises new show will live up to fan expectations
It’s been more than 20 years since Ash Williams last fought the forces of evil and now he’s back in an all new TV show created by Evil Dead creator Sam Raimi. During the Comic-Con panel, a trailer for season one of Ash vs. Evil Dead was revealed. The trailer showed more of the comedy and gore fans have come to expect from the franchise and star Bruce Campbell is on point in his reprisal of Ash.
During the panel, executive producer Ivan Raimi spoke about the decision to create a TV series rather than a new movie, reasoning that there was too much to do with Ash as a character to fit into a movie, and that a TV series allowed them to take him on all different kinds of adventures and get him in and out of all kinds of trouble.
The Man from U.N.C.L.E
This year marks the return of Illya Kuryakin and Napoleon Solo, this time to the big screen. The 1960’s classic show gets a fresh new look in this new take. Its stars Armie Hammer and Henry Cavill headed up a panel at Comic-Con to share a brand new extended trailer with the audience. The extended trailer reveals the mix of humour and action that fans of the original series would be expecting as well as being high-tech and explosive enough to entice a whole new generation of fans.
