Hollywood’s biggest night – the Oscars, is only a few weeks away and some of the nominated films are only just hitting Australian cinemas.

Australians always see the latest films slightly later than Americans. Many of the films that are nominated for Oscars in 2014 are just hitting our cinemas.

All the buzz surrounding The Wolf of Wall Street for me is falling on deaf ears, because I haven’t actually seen the film yet. Even thought the film stars our very own blonde bombshell Margot Robbie, the Aussie premier was this week almost a month after the U.S premier.

Bottom-line it is hard to make your Oscars picks without seeing the films. There is the (illegal) option of downloading the films, but sometimes nothing beats going to the cinemas, especially if the film is a good one.

To help make your Oscar winners list we have listed the nominated films below as well as the film’s trailer, rating and release date.
