The Lavazza Italian Film Festival driven by Fiat will once again showcase the very best new Italian cinema when it screens exclusively at Palace Cinemas.
The festival is proud to host the world premiere of The Space Between by Melbourne filmmaker Ruth Borgobello.
The first Australian-Italian feature co-production is a cross-cultural romantic drama starring Flavio Parenti and Maeve Dermody and a true celebration of la dolce vita.
Set between the vineyard-peppered countryside and electric blue Adriatic sea, The Space Between is a love story between Marco, an Italian ex-chef caught in a moment of great loss, and Olivia, a spirited young Australian in Italy to rediscover her roots and transform her life.
The Lavazza Italian Film Festival screens at Palace Barracks Cinema from September 28 to October 19. For more information, visit italianfilmfestival.com.au.
