Kirilee Baker caught the attention of publishers after the first chapter of The Book of Days won the 2010 John Marsden Prize — a competition she almost didn’t enter in the first place.

Now, her fantasy novel is on bookshelves and bmag has three copies to give away. If you like a bit of escapism, you will love this story which takes aspects from the Victorian era and the Industrial Revolution and sews it all together. Open a page and jump into a different world!

Total prize value: $56.97 (RRP$18.99 each).
