The acclaimed Selma tells the story of Dr Martin Luther King Jr’s historic struggle to secure voting rights for African-Americans.

It’s the story of a dangerous and terrifying campaign that culminated in the epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama that galvanised American public opinion and persuaded President Johnson to introduce the Voting Rights Act in 1965.

2015 is the 50th anniversary of this pivotal moment in the Civil Rights movement.

Releasing February 12 from STUDIOCANAL and starring Oprah Winfrey, Tim Roth, Tom Wilkinson, Giovanni Ribisi, and David Oyelow as Dr Martin Luther King, Selma was nominated for four Golden Globe Awards and took home the Award for Best Original Song, Motion Picture.

We’ve got 25 double passes to a preview screening on Wednesday February 4 at Event Cinemas Indooroopilly at 6:30pm thanks to STUDIOCANAL!
