We’re putting the call out to every budding David Fincher, Spike Jonze and Sofia Coppola — we’re airing a new TV commercial, and we want your help.

We’re asking you to create a 20 second TV commercial for bmag’s Australia Day issue. The winning ad will be part of an extensive TV campaign which will be aired on two commercial networks in January, and the winning director will receive 100,000 Frequent Flyer points! Just imagine where you could go…

Make it bold. Make it different. Make it memorable. Make it local. Make it funny, make it sad, make it mad — make it whatever you want it to be. Just make sure you make it great.

There are only two rules:

  1. The ad must feature the bmag logo. Click here to get the logo (just right-click on the image and choose ‘Save as…’ to save the image).
  2. The ad must promote our Australia Day issue, out on January 20.
