Atlanta trio Migos have announced their first Australian tour.
The group are headed to our shores on the back of an incredible year-long winning streak that doesn’t look like it’s going to end anytime soon.
In January, they released their Culture LP, which topped the Billboard chart and spawned their mega-hit ‘Bad and Boujee’.
‘Bad and Boujee’, sitting at a staggering 700 million plays across YouTube and Spotify, was the group’s first US #1 single.
The LP also features popular tracks ‘T-Shirt’, ‘Slippery’ and ‘Get Right Witcha’, which have all been accompanied by viral music videos.
They’ve also featured on some of the year’s biggest pop hits, including Calvin Harris’ ‘Slide’ and Katy Perry’s ‘Bon Appétit’.
As if that wasn’t enough, one of the group’s members, Quavo, has emerged as a star in his own right, guesting on hit singles from DJ Khaled, Post Malone and Travis Scott.
The group’s members are close relatives (Takeoff is Quavo’s nephew, and Offset is Quavo’s cousin) who first made a splash back in 2013 with their breakout hit, ‘Versace’.
Migos will play an all-ages show at Brisbane Riverstage on Saturday 14 October. The Frontier Touring pre-sale begins on Friday 16 June from 11am; tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday 19 June from 11am at Ticketmaster.
