X-Files star David Duchovny has announced his first Australian concert tour.
See, Duchovny isn’t just an award-winning actor, author and director — he’s also a musician.
He’s currently bunkered down in the studio working on his sophomore album, due for release later this year, which means his Australian fans will be among the first in the world to hear his new songs.
His first album, Hell or Highwater, featured Duchovny’s musical musings on pride, loss and remorse, and was heavily influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Leonard Cohen and R.E.M.
Of course, there’s a good chance that most of his fans didn’t discover Duchovny through his music, but through his iconic role as FBI Special Agent Fox Mulder on The X-Files, which is set to return for an 11th season later this year.
Duchovny is also known for his roles in Aquarius, Californication, and even Twin Peaks, in which he starred as transgender woman Denise Bryson.
David Duchovny will play the Eatons Hill Hotel on Thursday 1 March 2018. Tickets go on sale Friday 2 June 2017 at 9am at selecttouring.com.au; VIP Meet & Greet packages are also available for die-hard fans.
