Superstar Ed Sheeran has announced a second Suncorp Stadium date for his Australian tour.

With pre-sale tickets selling quickly, it was only a matter of time before the ‘Shape Of You’ singer expanded his itinerary — and he’s just done exactly that, announcing new shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland and Dunedin.

Sheeran has already amassed two Grammy Awards, six billion YouTube views and 70 million online followers in his young career, and has sold hundreds of thousands of tickets across his four previous Australian and New Zealand tours.

÷, Sheeran’s third album, was released in March, debuting at number one in Australia, the US, the UK, and just about every major market. The first two singles from the album, Shape Of You and Castle on the Hill, broke records here and overseas by debuting in the top two positions on the singles chart.

These will be Sheeran’s first Brisbane show since 2015.

Ed Sheeran will play Suncorp Stadium on Tuesday 20 March, and now, on Wednesday 21 March 2018. Pre-sale tickets are on sale now to Frontier Touring members; tickets go on sale on Tuesday 23 May at
