Ipswich City Square will celebrate Australia this weekend with free movies, markets, food trucks, entertainment for the kids and more!
The fun starts on Friday 27 January with the Twilight Markets, presented by Focal Community Living Inc. Market stalls and food vendors will be open from 4pm, with a free screening of Frozen on the big screen at 6pm.
Everyone is welcome and parking, entry and the movie are all free, so bring the family, pick up some tasty treats and enjoy a free movie under the stars on Friday night.
On Saturday, the monthly Ipswich CBD Food Fair in the Square goes Aussie to celebrate the Australia Day long weekend.
The fun kicks off at 4pm with dozens of food trucks, food stalls and markets, as well as live pig racing, a petting zoo, a jumping castle, live music (featuring Ipswich Battle of the Bands winners Asulum of Voices), a DJ, and even a meat pie and lamington eating competition.
The Ipswich Hospital and Focal Community Living Inc will both pop up during the Food Fair to raise money and awareness.
Visitors to the Ipswich CBD Food Fair in the Square will also be able to enjoy a free screening of classic Aussie films Babe and The Castle on the big screen in the Ipswich Mall!
The Twilight Markets — with a screening of Disney’s Frozen — will be held in Ipswich City Square from 4pm on Friday 27 January.
