After a busy year on screen in 2016, comedian Julia Morris will return to stand-up stages in 2017 with her new show, Lift and Separate.

Morris says her new show will deliver her signature full-tilt, high-octane stand-up storytelling, leading directly to what she calls “hurty tummy laughter”.

Billed as a delicious and raucous romp through the last two years, Lift and Separate sees Morris trying her best to make sense of the madness of day-to-day life.

Morris completely sold out her 2015 live show, I Don’t Want Your Honest Feedback, and picked up her second Helpmann Award nomination for Best Comedy Performer in the process.

As comfortable on TV as she is on stage, the two-time Silver Logie nominee plays Gemma in Nine’s House Husbands, now heading into its fifth season. She’ll also start filming the third season of Network Ten’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! in Africa in the new year.

Julia Morris will play QPAC’s Concert Hall on Sunday 4 June 2017. Tickets will go on sale at 10am this Friday 2 December; My Live Nation and ticket agent pre-sales will be available from 10am this Wednesday 30 November to 5pm this Thursday 1 December.
