Queensland Performing Arts Centre’s free live music program Green Jam is back again this year, featuring an incredible new line up.
Held every Friday evening until 23 December on the Melbourne Street Green, Green Jam features a wide range of performances, acts and experiences.
This year the event will play host to acts from the Queensland Conservatorium, Indigenous artists, an act from the music and arts festival Jungle Love (soon to be announced) as well as favourites returning from the 2015 sessions.
Some of this year’s artists and musicicans include Toby Wren Trio, Joshua Hatcher Trio, Leana Critchell Quartet, Charmaine Jones and Eddie Gazmani, Jo Davie Quartet and Conchord.
There will also be acts from the Brisbane City Council’s contemporary youth music program The QUBE Effect.
From jazz, folk to contemporary rock, Green Jam is always has a chilled and easy vibe, so there will be something for everyone to enjoy!
Whilst you’re relaxing and listening to the beautiful tunes, take of advantage of QPAC’s Green Jam Eats too.
This year’s eats are inspired by the tastes and smells of Asia, featuring sticky char siu pork belly steam bun sliders, teriyaki chicken and basil, mint and lemon cocktails.
