Sick of those damn kids ruining your trips to the museum? You’ll love this Dinosaurs After Dark party that’s strictly for adults only.
Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur. After Dark is going back in time for a prehistoric party that’s bigger than an extinction event.
Queensland Museum & Sciencentre will become a prehistoric playground for adults to explore after dark for two nights only (Friday 8 July and Friday 7 October).
If you love dinosaurs but you hate kids — in other words, if you are literally Sam Neill from the first hour or so of Jurassic Park — this is the event for you.
It’s a chance for adults to take a deeper look at the Dinosaur Discovery: Lost Creatures of the Cretaceous exhibition, which includes more than 20 moving, life-size models of legendary dinosaurs like the T-Rex and Muttaburrasaurus.
The event will feature expert talks, demonstrations, amazing objects, live music, films, entry to the Sciencentre and access to all the dinosaur action you can handle.
Bar food and drinks will also be available, but be responsible out there — we don’t want to see you get T-Rekt.
Dinosaurs After Dark comes to the Queensland Museum & Sciencentre (Corner Grey and Melbourne Streets, South Brisbane) on Friday 8 July and Friday 7 October from 7:30pm to 11pm. Tickets (18+ only) are available now at museum.qtix.com.au; visit the event’s Facebook page for more information.
