Fans of Parks and Recreation and Will and Grace are in for a treat.
There is a God.
Comedians Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally are bringing their sure-to-be-hilarious joint stage show to Brisbane next year.
For more than a decade, Mullally was best known for her iconic role as Karen Walker on Will and Grace. She has since appeared with real life husband Offerman on screen in Parks and Recreation in the role of Tammy Swanson.
The duo’s latest show is called Summer of 69: No Apostrophe, a offering which they have described as “a variety show comprised of talking, singing and sex acts”.
Though they’ve been touring this show around the US this year to great reviews, it far from being the first time they’ve collaborated outside of Parks and Rec.
Offerman’s last stand-up special, American Ham, featured the pair talking at length about their relationship and sex life, and they also starred together in a film a couple of years ago which premiered at Sundance.
In a statement for the tour announcement, Mullally described the show as definitely not-family friendly.
“It’s like comedic sex-ed. I think the show will be rather graphic so, you know, don’t bring your 7-year-old, but we hope to be very informative. It’s very all-American, really.”
Summer of 69: No Apostrophe will play on Saturday 6 February at QPAC. For more information visit www.qpac.com.au .
