The Surfers Paradise Festival is set to return in April with three huge weekends of family-friendly entertainment.
The 2015 Surfers Paradise Festival is gearing up to be the biggest yet as the massively popular beachfront event prepares to return with a packed program guaranteed to suit people of all ages.
The festival promises a host of exciting events celebrating music, art, food and culture throughout the precinct from April 3 to 18.
This will be the sixth annual Surfers Paradise Festival with headline events including the Australian Street Entertainment Championships, Shorts in Paradise Film Festival, and Seafire – one of the countries biggest and best fireworks challenges.
The Australian Street Entertainment Championships will run over the Easter long weekend where Australian and international street performers will take to the streets to compete in delighting crowds.
Street performers will cover a range of areas from music, dance, magic and comedy, as well as youth, semi-professional and amateur performers competing for cash prizes.
SeaFire promises to be a hit following the huge success of last year, providing an amazing night of hypnotic fire performance and thrilling fireworks above Surfers Paradise Beach.
The event is held over four beachfront zones along the Surfers Paradise foreshore, including the tiered amphitheatre at the Hanlan Street beach volleyball courts.
