Due to an overwhelming response to the season, Gilbert and Sullivan’s smash hit musical The Pirates of Penzance will continue for a sixth and final performance!

In conjunction with QPAC’s 30th birthday celebrations, Harvest Rain is delivering the show that has had a notably long and successful history in Queensland, drawing audiences of over two million in the past.

With record numbers during their multi-award winning 1990’s performances, Simon Gallaher is back in the director’s chair overseeing this exciting anniversary production!

The iconic Pirate King hat will be worn by none other than Australian television personality Andrew O’Keefe, off the back of his breakthrough transition to theatre as King Herod in the Andrew Lloyd Webber recent production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Also joining the All-Aussie, star-studded cast playing the role of Ruth is the illusive, musical theatre legend Nancye Hayes.

Following an overwhelming demand, Harvest Rain have announced a sixth and final 6:30 pm performance on the 22nd of March. There won’t be any further extensions, so book in now to avoid missing out!
