Robin Lord Taylor has been added to an impressive list of pop culture stars headed to Supanova on the Gold Coast.
Robin Lord Taylor, who plays the unsettlingly charismatic Oswald Cobblepot — aka The Penguin — in the hot new TV series Gotham, will be waddling across to our shores this April.
Gotham is the gritty prequel to Batman that offers a new take on the story and has been well received by fandom and general viewers alike, setting itself apart from the classic narrative by focusing on the years before the arrival of the famed Caped Crusader and giving us a chance to see how the villains started out.
Taylor, the breakout star of the show, has also appeared in a number of independent films and several popular television shows, including Law and Order, Person of Interest, The Good Wife and The Walking Dead. No doubt Taylor will be a welcome addition to the stellar list of guests, which already includes:
James Marsters (Spike from Buffy, the Vampire Slayer)
Tyler Hoechlin (Martin Brewer from TV’s Teen Wolf)
Jason David Frank (The original Green/White Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers)
Eoin Macken (Gwaine, Merlin)
Alexander Vlahos (Mordred, Merlin)
Jessica DiCicco (Flame Princess, Adventure Time)
Todd Haberkorn (Soul Eater, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood)
Kirby Krackle (Geek rock band from Seattle)
Tony Moore (Artist – The Walking Dead, Fear Agent)
Arthur Suydam (Artist – Heavy Metal, Marvel Zombies)
Peter F. Hamilton (Author – Greg Mandel and Night’s Dawn trilogies)
Supanova will be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from April 18-19.
