Started from the bottom, now he’s here. Canadian rapper Drake is coming to Brisbane for Future Music Festival 2015.

You know Drake is a talented guy because despite a complete lack of “street cred” — he shot to fame in Degrassi High, and did we mention he’s Canadian? — he’s managed to become the hottest name in hip hop. He’ll be performing tunes from his three acclaimed solo albums — Thank Me Later, Take Care and Nothing Was The Same — when he lands in Oz.

Avicii, one of the most in-demand DJs on the planet, also appears on the bill. As well as his usual catalogue of hits, he’ll be debuting new tracks from his hugely anticipated sophomore album, Stories.

The Prodigy, the legendary English electronic group who last appeared at Future Music Festival in 2013, will also return next year. They’ll also be debuting tracks from their new album.
