Are you looking to expand your film horizons and experience everything the Japanese film industry has to offer? Then you’ll want to head along to the Japanese Film Festival and watch some amazing stories unfold on the big screen.
There will be a mix of genres showing at the festival, including action, anime, classics, drama, mystery and romance. All films in the festival will be screened in Japanese but with English subtitles, ensuring the experience is inclusive for all movie goers. Movies on the schedule include Maiko Tokyo, Tokyo Refugees, Short Peace and Wood Jobl.
The festival will be brought to Brisbane by The Japan Foundation,a Japanese public organization established in 1972 in Tokyo and dedicated to promoting cultural and intellectual exchange between Japan and other nations through the implementation of comprehensive international cultural exchange projects.
