The Team Brisbane campaign will continue next month with a series of pop-up events around the city!
Team Brisbane has with Channel 9 and B105 for the Love This City tour, which will set up in suburbs all around Brisbane fortnightly on Fridays from 6am to 9am.
If you head along to one of the pop-up events, you could go in the running to win a brand new Holden Cruze thanks to Llewellyn Holden. All you have to do is come along to a show and enter your details on-site; the winner will be announced at a B105 and Channel 9 pop-up event on Friday October 17.
The #teambne hashtag will be prominently displayed at the following shows:
Friday 3 October — Oval: Hay St, Mitchelton
Friday 17 October — Cameron Park: Glebe Rd, Booval
Friday 31 October — Waller Park: Waller Rd, Browns Plains
If you know of someone who should be celebrated as part of Team Brisbane, nominate them now! Visit b105.com.au and get your nomination in by midnight 31 October. You could be rewarding a special Brisbane person with a year’s worth of unique Brisbane experiences, including:
- 2 x tickets to all Brisbane Lions, QLD Reds and Brisbane Heat home games in 2015

- 2 x tickets to ride the Wheel of Brisbane and Story Bridge Climb
- 2 x tickets to Riverlife Adventure Centre

The Team Brisbane campaign is intended to drive community pride and business confidence in Brisbane, capitalising on the city’s imminent international exposure with the G20, Asia Cup soccer, Asia Pacific Screen Awards, Global Café, cricket’s World Cup and test matches.
“It’s important for all of us in Brisbane to understand what we’re achieving as individuals and collectively as a city, what we’re offering the world and what we aspire to be as an emerging global city,” says Lord Mayor Graham Quirk.
“Team Brisbane is not just about feeling good about our city and its achievements — it is about injecting confidence into our economy and driving investment, spending and self-belief. Local residents and businesses being part of Team Brisbane is critical to our continued transformation into an emerging new world city.”
