The program schedule for this year’s Valley Fiesta has been released by Brisbane City Council.

The headliners already scheduled to perform at this year’s Fiesta are Dan Sultan, Allday, Motez, Remi, and Safia, with another announcement set to follow on Friday 25 July.

After the recent renovations to the Brunswick Street Mall, Valley Fiesta will host a new never before seen day time program, giving the annual event a family-friendly twist and chance to shop, swap, eat, drink and explore as the updated precinct.

This year BCC has partnered with over 50 local businesses to provide guests with one-day offers and discounts only available on the Saturday of  the weekend event.

If you’re a karaoke fan, head down on the Saturday night where the China Town Mall will be converted into Brisbane’s Biggest Outdoor Karaoke Bar, featuring a live ‘Rockaoke’ band and roaming street performers.

Also on the Saturday is the China Town Chow Down, a culinary experience offering four different banquet style sittings where guests can enjoy the best food Chinatown has to offer.

Sunday is all about music with the QMUSIC Queensland Music Awards Showcase in the Mall featuring live performances from home-grown artists.

Lord Mayor Graham Quirk said the Valley Fiesta 2014 program would continue to celebrate the unique and vibrant culture of Fortitude Valley featuring music, markets, fashion, food and art for a weekend-long party.

Valley Fiesta will be held in the Valley Precinct on the weekend of August 23-24.
