Television personality and qualified carpenter Scott Cam, will be at North Lakes this Saturday 8 February for the official launch of leading homebuilder McDonald Jones’ arrival in Queensland.
It’s expected to be a family-friendly fun day, with the opportunity to mingle with Scott Cam and some of Australia’s most popular television personalities.
Scott says the launch is set to be a great family day-out, in classic Queensland spirit.
“Besides coming along to walk through some pretty impressive homes, there’ll be a jumping castle, face painting and balloon modelling to keep the kids busy, plus there’ll be a sausage sizzle, which always goes down a treat on the weekend,” says Scott.
“I’ll be onsite from around 11am to around 2pm, so will be on hand to have a chat and no doubt a laugh or two… I’ll just keep what’s happening on The Block close to my chest!”
McDonald Jones’ entry into the Queensland markets is timely with the booming homebuilding industry and return of first homebuyers after the Great Start Grant.
Scott will cut the ribbon on the opening of two display homes at Stockland’s North Lakes, just 30km from the Brisbane CBD, to showcase what McDonald’ Jones can offer to locals.
McDonald Jones Business Queensland Development Manager Anthony Kirby said that McDonald Jones will be providing competitive pricing and better housing choices for Queenslanders
“The demand for new housing in Queensland is growing rapidly and as New South Wales’ leading homebuilder building over 1,000 homes a year, McDonald Jones is ready to introduce Queenslanders to our range of affordable architect designed homes,” Mr Kirby said.
“Our Queensland homes have never been seen before, and cater for first homebuyers through to people looking to build their second or third homes – with designs for smaller lots through to executive residences and acreage homes.
“Come along to the launch and see just how affordable a quality architect designed home ideal for Queensland’s lifestyle and climate can be.”
McDonald Jones has a Queensland Head Office at North Lakes to offer its Queensland customers local knowledge and support, including a MyChoice Colour Studio.
