It’s common knowledge that magicians should not reveal all… but that’s exactly what two Brisbane based magicians will do.

Two of Australia’s biggest names in magic will open The Brisbane Comedy Festival this February with their sleeves up and pants down.

Christopher Wayne and Mike Tyler are The Naked Magicians and their boisterous R-rated magic show will strip away the top hats and capes, promising full frontal illusions.

These shows are rated R18+ and perhaps is not for those who are uncomfortable with nudity or adult jokes.

For those who are though, it promises to be the world’s boldest, most cheekiest magic show yet!

The magicians say there will be nudity in the show but it’s not grubby and hopefully will appeal to a wide audience.

Christopher and Mike both agree that good magicians don’t need sleeves and great magicians don’t need pants.

Both Brisbane based magicians have performed to audiences on televisions and stages across the globe, but this will be the first time for both of them to take the stage as ‘The Naked Magicians’.

Mike Tyler is considered one of the best close-up magicians in Australia as an outstanding magician, mentalist, and comedy hypnotist who combines insane sleight of hand with unbelievable mind trickery.

Mike also hosts a regular magic segment on Network Ten’s Toasted TV and performs magic as a volunteer in the specialist clinic at the Mater Children’s Hospital (don’t worry, he keeps his clothes on!).

Mike’s ‘Naked Magicians’ partner Christopher Wayne is one of Australia’s leading entertainers. He performs more than 200 international shows a year, has worked his magic alongside such named as Gordon Ramsay and Pink, has appeared on many television shows and even became the first magician in Australian television history to have his own show ‘More Than Magic’.

Christopher also spent four years as the comedy writer for the B105FM Breakfast Show, which became the perfect training for writing The Naked Magicians.

Christopher adds: “If you don’t like my naked body in this show, just remember, I’m really funny.”
