The city’s basketball elite and hundreds of fans will join the Brisbane Bullets to celebrate their historic return season to the NBL, at the club’s Most Valuable Player Awards night on Saturday, February 25.
Close to 500 people are expected at the red-carpet event for the crowning of the inaugural Leroy Loggins MVP Medallist and the announcement of other key awards, as the Bullets wrap up their return 2016/17 season.
Staged at the Royal International Convention Centre in Bowen Hills, the event will feature a program of fine food, live music and entertainment, appearances by Bullets’ legends, special guest speakers, wine tasting, memorabilia auctions and more.
The gala evening is an opportunity for members and fans to mingle with their favourite players and Bullets greats while paying tribute to the best performances of the season.
Guests will enjoy a three-course sit down dinner paired with a selection of premium Sirromet wines and Lion beverages, as they soak up the live entertainment and awards ceremony.
Aside from revealing the Leroy Loggins MVP Medallist, the evening will see the naming of The Player’s Player Award – as voted by the players, Rookie of the Year, and the Member’s MVP – as voted by Bullets members.
There will also be the opportunity to own a piece of history, with Bullets signed jerseys, memorabilia, and a suite of other prizing up for grabs during a silent auction throughout the night.
