In a topsy turvy, often chaotic world, meditation can help you to find a place of stillness, serenity and peace within. Through meditation we learn to manage life’s challenges in a practical way. During kirtan meditation you will find shelter from daily stress and have the opportunity to focus on your inner sanctuary. Meditation will have you feeling positive, energised and able to cope with life’s trials rationally with thoughtfulness and understanding.

Kirtan meditation clears the heart and mind of unwanted things or “anarthas” a sanskrit word, which when translated into English is similar to the words envy, anger, or hatred. Meditation helps us to become free from bad qualities and at the same time increases good qualities like patience, tolerance, compassion, forgiveness and love. A person may also improve their ability to gradually be able to tap into their inner wisdom, develop more understanding and insights into the real meaning and purpose of life.

Meditation is very powerful, more so when done with a group. Group meditation is called Kirtan. Kirtan is group singing and chanting of timeless sacred mantras. Listen, dance, sing, smile, have fun – this is Kirtan.
Kirtan is meditation at it’s most powerful. Feel the burden of stress and anxiety lift off your shoulders. Make friendship with like minded people. Make a contribution to the welfare of the whole planet and all living beings by radiating these powerful sound vibrations throughout the atmosphere.
