Queensland’s premier LEGO® Fan Event is welcomed back to Brisbane on October 1, 2 and 3, at the Sleeman Sports Complex Chandler.

Launched in 2011 at the Mount Gravatt Show Grounds in a humble event shed, the show has come a long way. Now celebrating its fifth year, the expo at chandler has seen over 48,000 patrons amazed and excited by the visually stunning exhibits displayed over the years, and this year will be no exception.

Our merry band of talented builders and volunteers display their own creations and personal collections taking children and adults on a magical journey through the ages of LEGO. There will be interactive displays, a large train layout, a replica Springfield recognisable from famous cartoon series the Simpsons™, plenty of castles, knights, Minecraft, architecture models, Star Wars®, Classic Space and watch our master builders build some of the latest sets in front of your eyes!

To top it all off BrisBricks have risen to the challenge this year with an Australian and Southern Hemisphere record attempt for the largest Great Ball Contraption. Come and see how simple bricks and LEGO technics parts can be assembled together creating a giant moveable feast for the eyes.

The BrisBricks Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) community in South East QLD is a not for profit club that has proudly supported many local children’s charities over the years. This year BrisBricks is proud to support RizeUp, a local charity that supports the victims of Family and Domestic Violence through education, empowerment and helping those that have left with nothing. Part of the proceeds from the event will go towards helping to create a new home for victims fleeing a violent household and supporting children in their healing process with LEGO sets and the like.

BrisBricks Inc. President Magnus Hindsberger says: The BrisBricks LEGO Fan Expo 2016 is all about supporting kids and showing them how amazing LEGO really is. The show is certain to have something for everyone young and young at heart”.
