The second artist announcement for the 35th Gympie Music Muster has been released, with US comedian Rodney Carrington and Canada’s country music star Gord Bamford set to join this year’s line-up.
Held in the Amamoor Creek State Forest in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland from 25 – 28 August, the Muster will feature over 120 stellar artists in more than 300 performances across multiple stages.
The Muster’s first line-up announcement earlier this year revealed singers Kasey Chambers, John Williamson, Beccy Cole and The McClymonts would be performing and now they’ve added even more incredible talent to the list.
As well as Rodney Carrington and Gord Bamford, Troy Cassar-Daley, The Wolfe Brothers, John Stone, Codie Prevost, Charlie A’Court, The Viper Creek Band, Missy Lancaster, The Weeping Willows and more will take to the stage.
Music lovers can also enjoy performances like; Simply the Best with Rebecca O’Connor as Tina Turner and Takin’ the Piss hosted by Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson.
Proceeds from the Muster will go towards Mates4Mates, a charity helping Australian Defence Force personnel with mental and physical injuries as a result of their service.
With Australia’s best country music talent all in one spot for four spectacular days and nights, the 35th celebration of the Gympie Music Muster 2016 is going to be unforgettable. Don’t miss it!
