Continuing on from the successful DramaFest LINKS program last year, there are two more workshops for people who are interested in live theatre performance and development.
The first workshop is STAGECRAFT – BECOMING THE OTHER PERSON.
In this two-day workshop professional actors Penny Everingham and Karen Cone will help you to slip into another character through use of your body, your voice, your experience and, most of all, your imagination.
You’ll get your adrenaline racing with sessions of improvisation – quick, who are you now? How would you behave? How would you react? If you feel you have acting talent but lack technique this is the workshop for you.
At the end of the workshop you will get a certificate of attendance for your professional development portfolio.
Workshop places are limited so make sure you book early to secure a place!
You may also be interested in the second workshop in this series CLOWN AROUND! MASK UP AND BE BRAVE! (open for bookings now) and also the Seniors Week workshop WE ALL HAVE A STORY WORTH KEEPING (program available in May).
Tickets $10 includes light refreshments. You can book your tickets in person at RPAC Box Office, 2–16 Middle Street, Cleveland or by phone on 3829 8131 or online at rpac.com.au
