The 9th Byron Bay International Film Festival is gearing up for 2015.

The film festival is now Australia’s largest film festival which hosts a ten day program spanning over 220 films from over 35 countries.

The festival will take place in Byron Bay with its main location being the Byron Community Centre. It will also be held in four other venues in three regional centres.

Each year the red carpet sees an eclectic mix of international screen legends and local amateurs.

The festival’s events include an opening gala and closing night parties, master classes, panels, workshops and school screenings.

Festival Director, J’aimee Skippon-Volke said, “Byron Film Fest is known for its eye-opening, thought-provoking and cutting-edge films and the submissions we have received this year are nothing short of exceptional. Our festival goers are in for a treat.”

Don’t miss out, the official program and tickets are on sale from Monday 23 February.
