Things are often thrown away without a second thought for where they end up, but what if they were brought back to life as something beautiful?
Come and see the ultimate in up-cycling at the opening of the Recycling Art Exhibition at the Brisbane Square Library.
The exhibition features a showcase of 14 Brisbane artists who have turned second-hand treasures from the Council’s tip shops into inspiring artworks for the chance to win a share of $4000.
The exhibition offers everything from robots and interactive machines to sculptures and installation artwork, all made using recycled everyday items.
Exhibition and community voting runs from February 6 to March 23.
