Is one of your resolutions for 2015 to read more books?
If so, you can head on down to the Lifeline Brisbane Bookfest and scoop up some great reads for bargain prices. The Lifeline Bookfest is set to be held in the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, from 17 January to 26 January.
The Lifeline Bookfest is divided into three sections, to make it easier for book lovers to sift through the thousands of books that will be on offer. There will be a bargain section where all books will be under $1. In the children’s and magazines section hawk-eyed customers can scoop up two copies for just $1.
If you’re a bit of a big spender who can take your time browsing in the $2.50 section and all stationary items for sale will have the prices clearly marked. If you’re a serious reader, then the high quality section will be for you, where all the slightly more impressive books, along with DVD’S, will have prices as marked. All records will retail for $5.
Within each section, books are divided into more then 20 categories. These catagories include Children’s; Australiana; History; Reference; Humour and Oddities; Biography; Literature and Classics; Textbooks; Travel; Health; Science Fiction; Hardback Fiction; Art and Music and Paperback Fiction. Just to name a few.
In addition to books, each section carries a range of magazines, stationery, videos, CDs, cassettes and records.
