QUEENSLAND Youngbloods will this Thursday, June 5th, provide young Brisbane communicators the chance to get closer to securing their dream jobs.
The event, “Connect IV” run by Queensland Youngbloods, an initiative of the Communications Council, will provide university students and industry professionals the opportunity to mingle at the network’s second event of the year.
Queensland Youngbloods Chairperson Anna Kelly said in today’s climate breaking into a new industry was challenging.
“As any professional who has spent hours, days, weeks, and even months applying for that first job after university would know, breaking into a new industry can be tough,” Miss Kelly said.
Anyone under the age of 30, in their final year of studies, or new to the industry can become a member of Queensland Youngbloods.
Membership is free and includes industry news, educational events and social networking opportunities that Youngbloods run throughout each year.
