The Mount Tamborine Country Markets are held on the 2nd Sunday of each month at the Tamborine Mountain Showgrounds.

The market offers a huge range of fresh fruit and vegetables, wonderful locally produced cheeses, plants, herbs, flowers, coffee, arts and crafts, collectables, garden ornaments, clothing, a myriad of home made things and delicious temptations of all kinds.

If all this makes you hungry, there is plenty of food on offer, there’s excellent coffee, poffertjes (Dutch pancakes), German sausages or be tempted by baked jacket potatoes or fresh corn on the cob. There is much to see as the showgrounds are quite large and a variety of live entertainment is usually on offer,

Large shady trees keep you cool in summer, and some open areas allow you to soak in the sun on cooler days. Looking to please the little ones? There are pony rides, a kid’s castle area or the small kid’s car ride to keep them entertained throughout the day.

For parking, there is some street parking all around “Main Western Road” but if you manage to find a spot, it can be difficult to cross the road and it can also mean a bit of a walk back to your car.
