UR[BNE] Festival today announced its 2014 program would transform Queen’s Wharf into a bustling waterfront playground from 28 to 30 March for a weekend of innovative events celebrating Brisbane’s forgotten spaces.

Now in its third year, this annual community-driven Festival aims to change people’s perception of urban spaces by turning uninspiring and one-dimensional areas into vibrant destinations, attracting thousands to ingenious pop-up activities for all to enjoy.

This year’s Festival will combine art installations, creative lighting, markets, dancing groups, skating competitions, casual bike rides, musical performances and pop up food and bars overlooking the Brisbane River.

UR[BNE] Festival is a not-for-profit event held by UR[BNE] Collective in partnership with Brisbane City Council.
