Dating back to 1954, the Stanthorpe Apple and Grape Harvest Festival is now one of Queensland’s most iconic events and attracts up to 52,000 visitors over the three days of festivities.Thursday-(2)

Now featuring Seasonal Harvest Tours and Harvest Feasts, the festival will be barrels of fun with Apple Day events on the Friday (including a gala ball), a street parade and celebrity grape crush on Saturday with a fantastic fireworks show over the creek to finish the night – and the Mt Marley 10 kilometre challenge and Quart Pot Creek 5 kilometre walk on the Sunday, to work off all the excess cheese and wine consumed!

Plan your trip early and book accommodation in the beautiful Southern Downs region – and while you’re in Stanthorpe, why not get out and enjoy the beautiful natural surrounds of Girraween National Park, or tackle the Pyramid walk – really explore what’s on offer in this unique part of Queensland.
