Capoeira is a unique fitness activity and form of cultural art that combines martial arts, music and dance elements. In South Bank’s free Capoeira sessions, Xango will teach the basic movements of Capoeira leading up to an improvisation or ‘game’ between two players.

No experience is required – just head along and enjoy a whole-body workout that will help develop fitness, strength, coordination and flexibility. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun and is guided by the live sounds of traditional Capoeira music.

Xango Capoeira is on Saturday 22 February and Saturday 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 March from 10-11am; as well as Wednesday 26 February and Wednesday 5, 12, 19 and 26 March from 5:30-6:30pm. Please note that this is an adults only activity. If you want to participate, please arrive 10 minutes before the class is scheduled to start. No bookings are required.
