The Annual Redland Museum Australia Day Bush Play “Farmer will swap a combine Harvester for a Wife” is on from 24 January to 1 February 2014.

These intriguing words form an unusual advertisement in the Queensland Country Life and are the title of the Annual Bush Play put on by the Redland Museum.

A “semi-retired” bachelor farmer runs this ad. as he is determined to find a suitable applicant of “breeding age”. One can imagine the response to this ad and the repercussions that ensue! Directed by well-known stage identity Ray Noonan these shows will be held on:

Friday, Saturday, Sunday- 24, 25 and 26 January.
Friday 31 January
Saturday 1 February

Get a table together to enjoy a wonderful and unique experience with ‘Theatre Restaurant under the Stars’ at the Redland Museum.

Doors open: 6pm Dinner at: 7pm. Show starts at: 7.30pm.

Cost: (inclusive of Bush Dinner): $30 per person.
